WAI2K Video


I will be adding footage in the lead-up to race day to highlight some of the areas in which you will be running.
There will be some handy tips included to help guide you through different parts of the WAI2K course. Please note that the course will only be lightly marked (as they're already well marked overall).
These videos are COMPULSORY viewing for all WAI2K runners.

The First/Last Leg - Tauherenikau Racecourse to Bucks Road Campsite (Approx 9km)


Leg #2: Frith Track (9km - 18km/900m elv)


Leg #3: Kaitoke-Norbett Creek Loop-Rivendell (24km-30km mark 400+ elv)


Leg # 4: Te Marua/Upper Hutt - Tunnel Gully (38km to 41km)


Leg #5: Tunnel Gully - Mt Climie (43km - 46km)


Leg #6: Remutaka Incline/Cross Creek (83km/101km runners)


Last Leg: Cross Creek to Featherston

PLEASE NOTE: The course through Featherston has been updated since this video. Please see course details page for more information on this change.
The 80km/100km categories will NOT be running from Cross Creek to the racecourse for 2021
